Job Description:

We are seeking a talented PL/SQL Developer with proficiency in Java integration to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong database development skills using PL/SQL along with the ability to integrate PL/SQL components with Java applications. This role will involve collaborating with both database and application development teams to deliver robust solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code for Oracle databases, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Collaborate with Java developers to integrate PL/SQL components into Java applications.
• Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, and views to support application requirements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality and application stability.
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in PL/SQL development and Java integration.
• Document technical specifications, system architecture, and code changes for future reference and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer with a strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL programming for Oracle databases, including advanced techniques for performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of Java programming language and experience in developing Java applications.
• Experience with Java frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, or JDBC along with microservices is mandatory.
• Knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, design patterns, and version control systems.
• Oracle certification in PL/SQL or Java is a plus.
