Sr. Python-Developer + Azure

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Python Backend Developer who is a self-starter with a robust understanding of software design and architecture. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Azure deployment and functions, demonstrating a strong ability to develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Implement backend systems and APIs with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Deploy applications and data services on Azure, utilizing Azure Functions and managing cloud resources effectively.
• Ensure the security and privacy of the application by integrating best practices in data protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Provide technical leadership in architectural discussions and guide the development team on best practices.
• Stay informed of emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Python Backend Developer.
• Strong understanding of software design and architecture.
• Expertise in Python programming and frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, CSS) for seamless integration.
• Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a flair for independent and self-motivated work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB).
